Context
Fleetr is fleet management software for small and medium-sized fleets. It gives owners full control of their vehicles, with real-time information about trips and the incidents that happen along the way.
The challenge
Improve navigation, simplify the user flow and adapt the whole product to mobile and desktop web.
My role
- UI/UX design
- Product management
- User research
- User journey mapping
- Wireframes
- Information architecture
- Interaction design
- UI kit, brandbook and design system
Tools: Figma, Miro, Maze, Animate, Illustrator and Jira.
Process
With the Fleetr team we split the project into four key phases, which helped us plan the roadmap, milestones and delivery dates. Scheduling with Shape Up let us define and prioritize better, and four-week sprints let me iterate and validate solutions early and often.
- DiscoveryWorkflow assessments, user interviews, competitive research and definition texts for the intranet.
- AnalysisUser journey maps, business and payment flows, MVP scope prioritization and A/B testing.
- ConceptLow and high-fidelity wireframes, Atomic Design libraries, hi-fi iterations and customer feedback loops.
- Sprint developmentFinal designs, explanatory videos, feedback on development and usability, style and component guidelines.
Design system
I built the design system and color guide with the Atomic Design methodology: atoms, molecules, organisms, templates and pages.

Architecture
The site map clarified the structure of every element and feature. Low-fidelity journeys for specific tasks helped resolve interactions and define copy and responses, built together with the engineering team.

Final design
High-fidelity designs for mobile and desktop, with clear specs, interactive mockups and videos for micro-interactions.

Brand
I developed a brandbook with a refreshed identity, closer to the other brands in the group. The logo spacing uses the stroke of the “L” as one unit; the safety margin is two units on every side. The icon sits inside a box so it can work as an isotype and be animated through its negative space.
